The Microdust Pro

Demand for this product has more than doubled in less than a year. The compact easy to use dust monitor is said to be the most versatile real time instrument available and features a measurement capability from 1ugm-3 to 2500ugm-3. It is the only hand-held real time dust monitor capable of graphically presenting variations in dust concentration on a real time scrolling graph.

Casella London Limited first started producing a real time dust monitor in 1989, named the AMS950 (Aerosol Monitoring System). Since that time, the product has undergone many changes, most notably the introduction of the Microdust in 1998. Casella CEL Limited are pleased to be launching the new Microdust pro– an exciting new product for the occupational health and real time dust monitoring market. The Microdust pro is a natural progression from its predecessor and incorporates many new and innovative features. For example, it is the only hand-held real time dust monitor on the market capable of graphically presenting variations in dust concentration on a real time scrolling graph no longer is it necessary to wait to analyze results on a PC.

A large graphics LCD display has been combined with the power of a microprocessor to provide a user friendly interface with clear and versatile presentation of data and menus.

The Microdust pro represents probably the most versatile real time instrument available with an incredible measurement capability from 1m gm-3 to 2500 mgm-3 in one compact and easy to use instrument. Recent advances made by our research engineers have refined the optics within the probe, offering improved performance and stability with the near forward light scatter technique employed.
Unlike previous versions, the pro now features software calibration routines for zero and span calibrations which eliminate the need for manual adjustments and trimming tools. Up to 4 user defined, memory backed up calibration routines are also available for differing dust types.
The pro also features the option of alkaline or rechargeable cells with internal fast charge circuit, comprehensive data logger providing over 15,700 data points and new 32bit WinDust pro software.

Topas by Turnkey Instruments

TOPAS (Turnkey Optical Particle Analysis System) is a fixed station monitor designed to continuously record environmental PM10, PM2.5 and PM1 particles.

The instrument is housed in a compact, unobtrusive stainless steel wall box with IP66 protection. Inlet heating is fitted as standard. All controls and displays are located behind a lockable door.

Several sites can be networked together to form a city wide monitoring system. Sites can be connected by radio, telephone or GSM modems, or fixed wiring and controlled by one PC using AirQ software.

Osiris by Turnkey Instruments

Portable, Direct Reading, Airborne Particle Sampler

One of the family of Turnkey's direct reading airborne particle monitors, OSIRIS is a general purpose instrument which can be used as a portable instrument or deployed in a semi-permanent installation.

Fitted into a Turnkey Lamp Post Box, OSIRIS can be quickly deployed to study short or long term pollution hotspots in towns and cities and exceedance areas rapidly determined.

OSIRIS will continuously indicate the concentration of TSP, PM10, PM2.5 and PM1 particles with a resolution of 0.1 micrograms per cubic metre. In its workplace mode, it will indicate inhalable, thoracic and respirable concentrations.

DustMate by Turnkey Instruments

Hand-Held Direct Reading Fume and Dust Detector.

DustMate is a hand-held instrument with a very fast response which has been designed to locate sources of workplace airborne dust and fumes even at very low concentrations.

Highly effective for checking air quality within buildings. Its one second time resolution also allows it to be used as a road side indicator to identify high pollution vehicles as they pass.

The instrument will continuously indicate the concentration of thoracic, inhalable and respirable particles down to 0.1 micrograms per cubic metre. In its environmental mode, it will indicate TSP, PM10, PM2.5 and PM1 concentrates.

AirQ for Windows by Turnkey Instruments

Environment Monitoring Software

AirQ for Windows software will collect, manage and display results from our range of environment sensors. These sensors can be used to measure air quality information including PM10 and PM2.5 particles, pollutant gasses, and noise levels.

Climatic conditions such as ambient temperature, wind speed, wind heading, and relative humidity can also be recorded as an aid to tracking the source of the pollution. For example, with AirQ a live on screen Pollution Rose can readily be created which plots measurements against wind heading on a polar chart.
